Raising a remarkable figure of over £2,000 for Story, David and Eileen Simonds held a marvellous party in their lovely garden, overlooking the Chantries in Guildford, on Sunday 2nd September. David opened the proceedings by explaining his personal connection to the charity, and asking everyone to stay safe in the sun. It was indeed a beautiful sunny afternoon, made into a perfect lazy Sunday by the music of Jaz2. Our thanks are due to everyone who made the day so special; and to all who attended (and not forgetting those good friends who contributed even though they were unable to attend) to make the day such a success.
