New Year – New Structure for Story FMR!
The Trustees of Story FMR are delighted to say that the charity has done better in its set-up phase than any of us thought possible. We are determined to do even better next year, both in raising funds and in spending them on valuable research, as well as continuing to raise awareness of melanoma and other skin cancers.
We are therefore pleased to announce that we have resolved to increase the number of Trustees we have to a total of nine, as permitted in our Constitution. We have agreed roles and responsibilities for these new posts, and to facilitate this growth are pleased to announce that Dr Mazhar Ajaz will now become Story FMR’s President, allowing the charity to continue to benefit from his inspirational leadership. Pam Walls will step up to the role of Chairman, facilitating the appointment of a new Secretary. These changes will take place with effect from 1st January 2019.
