Melanoma is the most serious skin cancer, affecting more and more people each year. Many are unaware how deadly the disease can be, despite intense ongoing research efforts towards a cure.

Story FMR has been established to promote and preserve the health of the general public by raising awareness of all areas relating to skin cancer including its risks, prevention and treatment and supporting research into skin cancers including melanoma, its treatment and cure and to publish the useful results of such research.

The Trustees are determined to make a difference to the lives of people affected by melanoma and other skin cancers, whose stories have moved us deeply and inspired the development of this charity. We are committed to ensuring that the maximum possible amount of donations we receive is spent on relevant research, and give our time freely to the charity.
