Internationally recognised artist, Sara Habgood, staged an intimate private exhibition of her most recent artwork in the Velo House, Tunbridge Wells, on Friday 17th November 2017.
Inspired and moved by the courage of a close friend who is battling melanoma, Sara hosted a delightful drinks party, where the wine flowed freely, the food was amazing, and the support for Story FMR was almost overwhelming. Sara generously donated one of her beautiful signature dragonfly paintings as first prize in a raffle which raised over £1,000, and contributed 20% of all painting sales to our cause.
Our huge thanks go to Sara, the local businesses who supported the event by providing some marvellous raffle prizes, and of course to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the evening. Thank you all.
